ARHalva is a delicious Armenian shortbread cookie that really only takes a few ingredients to make!

1 1/2 cups butter (or 3/4 cup clarified butter)
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
pinch of salt
.
clarify butter, stir in flour and cook until its starts to turn brown and a nutty/ popcorn smell starts coming out about 10-15 min (it will form into a play dough type texture). add in the sugar and salt and stir until smooth. spread out on sheet tray and let cool.
