Handstand: Beginner’s Edition! 🤸‍♀️ exercise details below ⬇️ Step 1: Pike Holds Hold the pike position, keeping your legs straight and aiming to form a 90-degree angle with your upper body and legs. Engage your core and focus on maintaining balance and stability. Start with shorter holds and gradually increase the duration as you build strength. Step 2: Decline Pike Walk Outs Position yourself in a pike hold with your feet on an elevated surface. Walk your hands forward, maintaining the pike position, until your body is extended in a plank position. Slowly walk your hands back towards your feet to return to the starting position. This exercise challenges your balance and core stability even further. Step 3: Single Leg Wall Touches Stand facing a wall and place your hands on the floor, shoulder-width apart. Kick one leg up while pushing off with the other foot and try to touch the wall with one foot. It is important that you keep your arms extended and straight. This exercise helps you develop body awareness and coordination while getting used to being upside down. Step 4: Kick Ups to Wall Handstand Kick one leg up while pushing off with the other foot, aiming to bring both feet to the wall in a controlled manner. The wall will provide support as you practice balancing in a handstand position. Step 5: Wall Walk Handstand Start in a plank position with your feet against a wall. Begin walking your feet up the wall while walking your hands towards the wall. Continue walking until you are in a vertical position with your hands close to the wall and your body aligned. Focus on maintaining a straight body line and engaging your core throughout the movement. ❕Remember to always prioritize safety, listen to your body, and progress at your own pace when practicing these exercises. Het enige wat je nodig hebt is een stoel, muur en het evt volgen van de handstand training die onderaan deze caption staat :) Bij elke oefening wil je zoveel mogelijk je: * Schouders naar je oren duwen * Core aanspannen door je ribben omlaag te duwen * Schouders positioneren in het midden van je handen * Naar je handen kijken Het is niet erg als iets nog niet lukt, je hoeft nog geen handstand te kunnen om uitdagendere oefeningen te oefenen. Dit is juist heel goed om ook te doen!
