I got to live my Haunted Mansion dreeeeams! 🧵🪡🎤🎸👰‍♀️🧟‍♀️ I DIY’d this thrifted 80s wedding gown into my brand new Constance Hatchaway costume for a live gig *inside* Club 33 at Disneyland (yes, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 Club 33!) 💀 and I’ve been 𝓭𝔂𝓲𝓷𝓰 to share some of this magic with you! My music duo @nomoresomedaysmusic was booked to play at the Disneyland Resort on Halloween night last year, (Already a dream! 😍) -and they even requested we perform in costumes! Singing at my favorite place, AND I get to cosplay something spooky while doing it? Say less. Immediately @kurthunter and I knew we wanted to dress with some Haunted Mansion inspiration. His look was inspired by The Hatbox Ghost (even though Constance is known for beheading…I let him keep his on for the occasion 😇) and mine was ofc the then-current version of the ghost bride in the mansion attic! (I love the bride’s new look in the updated ride btw, but Constance’s more sinister storyline will probably always be my fav. 😉) We found out the Club was actually decorated in a Haunted Mansion theme for Halloween, so even though it was pure coincidence, we perfectly matched their vibe! It was meant to be. 🥰 A spooky, magical night I’ll never forget - here’s some behind the scenes of how I put my costume together + a little bit more of the story! (Thank you so much to my dear friend Cassie Wanda of @glimmerwood for helping me transform this gown! And thanks also to @jmillsmakeupandhair for the Bride of Frankenstein wig seen at the end of this reel in our @creepitrealoc show! We’ll share some videos from that sooon! 👻🎤)

BLACK LIGHT MAGIC ✨ I don’t usually brag, but UV-reactive painting is one of the things I’m truly proud of. It’s a tricky craft with limited colors, so I often create my own pigments and techniques, brush and airbrush that look natural in daylight and glow beautifully under black light. My love for this started with Prague’s Black Theatre, and later Disney rides like Snow White and Peter Pan. Since then, I’ve used these methods on makeups, masks, props...like my Hatbox Ghost (2016) and the Magic Mirror. There’s something magical about art that transforms when the lights go out. 💡🖤
