2 years ago I knew I have 2 mild herniated disc and a cyst mildly affecting my nerves 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was not able to Train at all , not able to perform a single body weight squat and sometimes not able even to laugh! I was told I may not be able to heavy again and that made me even think about changing my career 🚫 It took me many months to understand my body , its needs , how to make it recover and how to start gradually get back to train 💪 And yes I started with empty bar deadlift after I was doing 120 kg!😅 Today is the first time I share breaking my deadlift record finally with 135 kg ( double my weight 😎)🔥 If one thing I would advise people who like to lift to do is to be consistent !😈 Understand you body , love it , keep trying , don’t chase perfection but improvement only 🤩 #gymlife #liftheavy #fitnesslife #strongwomen #motivation

Someone lived with L4–L5–S1 disc-related back pain for 8 years. They laughed when I said reducing pressure could help. Because most people are told one thing: “Disc pain is permanent. Learn to live with it.” 🧠 What actually matters Spinal discs don’t have a direct blood supply. They stay healthy through pressure changes, not rest alone. When discs stay compressed for years—from sitting, posture, poor movement, or lack of load variation—fluid exchange slows, pressure builds, and nearby nerves stay irritated. 📉 This is where inversion boots come in Inversion boots use gravity to assist spinal decompression by: ✔️ Gently reducing pressure between vertebrae ✔️ Allowing fluid, oxygen, and nutrients to move back into the disc ✔️ Helping calm nerve irritation without surgery or aggressive pulling This isn’t cracking. This isn’t forceful traction. And it’s not a one-time fix. ⚠️ Decompression works best when it’s: • Gradual • Guided by symptoms • Used alongside strength and regular movement Relief is the signal. Consistency is the process. 💬 Comment “HANG” and I’ll send you context on how inversion decompression works and whether it may be appropriate for disc-related back pain. #spinaldecompression #discbulge #lowerbackpain #sciatica spinal decompression | inversion boots | disc-related back pain | L4 L5 S1 | herniated disc | nerve compression | non-surgical back care | spine health

The truth about a disc bulge is very different from what most people imagine. A lumbar disc bulge does not mean your disc has “slipped out.” In fact, the term slip disc is medically inaccurate. A bulge simply means the outer layer of the disc is extending slightly beyond its normal boundary something that is extremely common, even in people without pain. Many people confuse a disc bulge with a herniated disc, but they are not always the same. And more importantly, neither automatically means surgery. Most cases of lower back pain are not caused by structural damage alone. Sometimes the pain is due to inflammation, muscle guarding, nerve sensitivity, or even fear-based movement patterns. When symptoms travel down the leg, people panic about sciatica pain, assuming the worst. But even sciatica can improve significantly with proper movement and loading strategies. Real spine health is not about avoiding movement it’s about restoring control, stability, and confidence in your body. With the right disc bulge treatment, progressive loading, and guided physiotherapy for back pain, recovery is not only possible it’s expected. The goal isn’t just temporary back pain relief. It’s building a spine that is strong, adaptable, and resilient. Your MRI is information not your future. Since March, I’ve been completely banned from the Olympic Training Center, including the gym, sports medicine, rehab, and the bobsled push track. In February, right before World Championships, I was injured during a trip in the new USA Bobsled while testing team sleds in training. The trip was so severe I lost full bladder control. MRIs later revealed a herniated disc, disc bulge, and multiple tears in my back. I was in tremendous pain. Then my medical appointment was canceled without warning by the USOPC. No explanation. No treatment. No access to rehab. I asked why I wasn’t being treated. I was in pain, frustrated, and confused. Instead of care, I was punished for voicing that frustration. Today, my Team USA bobsled teammates are at training camp. They’re pushing sleds on ice, getting timed, getting support. I’m in Louisiana pushing a car to stay ready for Olympic Trials. This isn’t a doping ban. I have zero drug violations. This is about the USOPC restricting access to an athlete who asked why her medical care was suddenly cut off. I’ve represented Team USA for over 20 years. And I’m still pushing. Still preparing. Still here. They can ban me from a building, but they can’t take away my fight. Full story is in my bio. I’m training right now and can’t respond to every comment or question, but thank you for the support. 🫶🏽🇺🇸

I’ve been helping active adults overcome herniated discs and sciatica for years now and these are the HILLS I WILL DIE ON: 1. Rest is the worst advice you can give someone with a herniated disc. Pain calming down with rest? Sure. But you still have to fix the directional overload pattern that caused it. The pain coming back every time you return to activity isn’t bad luck. Nobody fixed the root cause. 2. The more you understand your spine, the faster you heal. I’ve seen people recover in weeks after years of chronic pain. Not because they found a magic exercise. Because they finally understood WHY their disc herniated in the first place. 3. Generic PT exercises are not a plan. Bird dogs, clamshells, and planks aren’t wrong. But if your PT isn’t addressing YOUR specific directional loading pattern, you will stay stuck at 70% forever. 4. Your MRI is not a death sentence. Doctors show you that scan like your spine is destroyed beyond repair. But research shows 60% of people in their 50s have disc bulges with ZERO pain. Your disc isn’t the problem. The pattern that created it is. 5. Surgery should be the absolute last resort. 90% of herniated discs heal without surgery when you address the root cause. But nobody makes money teaching you how to fix your own spine. So that option rarely gets presented to you. 6. Fear is keeping you more stuck than your disc ever will. The patients who recover fastest aren’t the ones with the least severe herniations. They’re the ones who stop treating their spine like it’s made of glass and start building resilience. 7. The active adults who get back to 100% all have one thing in common. They stopped chasing temporary relief and started building spinal resilience. They learned their directional preference. They committed to fixing the pattern instead of managing it. Every single one of them.

Your MRI didn’t cause your pain —> it just revealed it. For years, people are told their herniated disc means their core is “weak,” their spine is fragile, and they need to avoid bending, lifting, or rotating forever. So they brace. They stop moving. They get temporary relief… and then the pain keeps coming back. Disc herniations aren’t a life sentence. They’re often a sign that your spine hasn’t been exposed to the right types of load, in the right directions, at the right time. Pain isn’t proof that something is broken. It’s information. And when rehab shifts from protecting your spine to preparing it, everything changes —> confidence, movement quality, and long-term outcomes. This isn’t about ignoring symptoms or pushing through pain. It’s about rebuilding capacity so your spine can tolerate real life again. If you want a clear, structured way to approach herniated discs without fear-based rehab, comment SFC and I’ll send you my free breakdown.

Margot Robbie trained like a competitive skater for months, working 4–5 days a week on full routines, spins, footwork, and endurance rather than just learning movements for camera tricks; the physical toll was real — she developed a herniated disc in her neck during preparation, dealt with constant bruises from repeated falls, and even experienced concussion-like symptoms after a lift accident, which shows the training wasn’t cosmetic Hollywood prep but legitimately demanding athletic work, even though the triple axel itself still required a body double and VFX because mastering that jump in such a short time is realistically near impossible. 🎬:I, Tonya (2017) #itonya #margotrobbie #cinephile
