“What is spatial displacement? When hogs enter an area, native species of wildlife leave. There is no co-habitation. Once the hogs ravage all available food sources, they move on temporarily, only to come back in larger numbers, continuing the vicious cycle. IF the turkeys, deer, quail and other innumerable native species return, all the food is gone causing irreparable damage not only to the native fauna but flora as well.
Hog immigration must be taken seriously. The second they show up on your property, you better have a game plan ready to implement before they take hold. If they do, there is nothing worse for your property from a habitat and wildlife perspective. And hunting them just ain’t gonna cut it…”
