I have gained over 250,000 followers in the last 3 months using trial reels. This technique works EVERY TIME. Trial reel growth isn’t luck, it’s strategy. I have posted over 100 trial reels - taking copious notes on what works and what doesn’t. Lucky for you, I don’t gatekeep. Here’s EXACTLY what works for successful trial reels👇🏻 1. Choose a 4-9 second long B roll clip 2. Put it to a trending audio with 5-50k uses 3. Use a strong on screen hook that entices people to head to your caption (I’m begging you not to say - read the caption) 4. A strong first sentence that leads into a long caption. This is the magic formula. Once you have this you can recreate new trial reels using different B roll clips and slight variations of your hook and caption. Use these trial reels to collect data. Change one thing about your reel at a time - the hook, the audio, the clip, the action, the post time, etc. Post these trial reels 2-3 times daily. You aren’t recreating the wheel each time, just small changes. This will give you the information you need to see what’s clicking and what needs to be adjusted. Edit based on that information and do it again. MY BIGGEST TIPS 1. Take notes on your reel insights at 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, and so on. You’re not just looking at likes and comments. Monitor these things - saves, follows from reel, sends, and reach. 2. The first 1.5 seconds matter most. You need movement and text. Don’t make your viewer wait for it. 3. When one of your reels does well, RUN WITH IT! Within 24 hours, post it again with a new B roll clip. Same format, small changes. Fast growth on instagram is possible, you just have to know what you’re doing. And I do, so stick around. #instagramgrowth #trialreels #trialreelstrategy #reelsstrategy #viralreels

What you need to know ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I already announced it early June: Instagram has put a limit on how many Trial Reels you can post 😟 It started with users being unable to post their Trial Reels. Instagram would say they had a bad connection, or would just not post the Trial Reel at all. But since this week users are getting hit with messages like: ❌ “You’ve reached your limit” ⏳ “Try again tomorrow” ⛔️ “You can’t post another Trial Reel for 30 days” Some coaches argue that the limit is 5 per day, but this is NOT true. Nobody knows exactly what the limit is. It’s different for everyone. And as someone who’s been an expert on this platform for years, here’s what I suspect is going on: ⚠️ 1. Age of your account matters. Just like engagement limits, newer accounts tend to have tighter restrictions. I therefore suspect newer accounts are allowed to post less Trial Reels than older, established accounts. ⚠️ 2. How much you’ve spammed in the past. I believe Instagram is escalating penalties based on behavior. First offense = 24 hours Repeat = 7 days Major spammer = 30 days (This is not confirmed by Instagram, but based on my own research.) If you’ve been posting 20 or more Trial Reels a day, it could be that you’re on Instagram’s naughty list, and are therefore on a stricter Trial Reels limit. ❕ Good to know: Instagram gives you a heads-up saying you only have one left. So what should you do moving forward? ✅ Dial back the spam I know a popular “strategy” is to repost an old successful Reel as a Trial over and over 100x again. That’s not strategy. That’s spamming. Just stop. 📆 Space out uploads If you’re posting multiple Trial Reels, do one or two in the morning, one or two in the afternoon, and one or two in the evening. Do NOT post back to back. 🔟 Stick to 10 or fewer per day And even that might be too much for newer accounts. Trial Reels still work, but they’re not a free-for-all anymore.
