30 years ago Dad set up his business with 3 people and a dog! Today, Howden has 15,000 employees and operates in 100 countries, making it the 5th largest employee-owned business in UK and one of the largest insurance groups in the world. Despite this, he ALWAYS makes time for his family and follows my eventing with HUGE passion. He helps so many in the eventing world, creating huge opportunities and experiences. His generosity is endless and his pure passion for life is simply unmatched. I have been lucky enough to have him supporting me through every aspect of life. He has taught me that hard work, grit and determination get you what you want in life. As he loves to say “You can have everything you want in life, but you have to have everything that goes with it.” He truly is my inspiration.
But behind every strong man is an even stronger woman! Mum you are there for our family through thick and thin and it is safe to say that none of us would be where we are without you behind us all.
