Day 2 at HWPO Training. Strong session today back squats at 300 lb for 2×5 plus an AMRAP, and the same structure on the bench, hitting a solid 2×5 and an AMRAP at 160 lb. Finished the strength work with Bulgarian split squats, three reps per side, focusing on balance, control, and trusting both legs equally. The altitude difference between the Netherlands and Vermont definitely showed today lungs on fire but that’s part of the process. The capacity work surprised me most: consistent sets of 13–14, finishing strong with two sets of 15 in the last round. Hip flexors talking, but overall feeling strong and confident. Working hard, getting used to the environment, meeting new people, and making this place feel more like home every day. Built from grit.
