Here’s the new format and syllabus for 0580 CAMBRIDGE IGCSE MATHEMATICS👇
1️⃣ No More Calculator for Paper 2
Time to rely on your brain, not your Casio Calculator 😭
Get sharp with mental maths, and topics like surds & exact trig values.
2️⃣ Exam Timing Changed
⏰ Paper 2 → 2 hours (was 1h30)
📐 Paper 4 → 2 hours (was 2h30)
3️⃣ Total Marks Updated
Paper 2 now has 100 marks and counts for 50% of your final grade.
Yup, Paper 2 can make or break your result 💀
4️⃣ New Topics Added
Surds, Domain & Range, Graphs with fractional powers, and Exact Trig Values.
Cambridge wants understanding, not memorisation.
5️⃣ Old Topics Removed
Say goodbye to Linear Programming, Box & Whisker Plots, Congruency, and Data Collection 👋
