DEThe Best of Me is a romantic drama based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. The film follows the emotional journey of two former high school sweethearts, Amanda Collier and Dawson Cole, who are reunited after twenty years apart.
As teenagers in a small town in North Carolina, Dawson (played as a young man by Luke Bracey) comes from a troubled, abusive family, while Amanda (played young by Liana Liberato) belongs to a wealthy and respected family.
