They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but lately, it feels like it’s only worth a few dozen prompts. 🎨💔 . ​I spent the past 4 years drawing illustrations that capture the curve of a child’s smile and place colors to show the way light hits a playroom floor. . Now, watching AI evolve, there’s a quiet, heavy realization: the "machine" is catching up. . It’s hard to stay "inspired" when you feel like you’re racing against an algorithm that doesn’t sleep, doesn't feel, and doesn't charge a living wage. . ​I don’t have a silver lining today. If you just recently got an iPad for Christmas, or maybe a much needed upgrade, learn how to use it to create a hobby you could get paid for. Basically you draw cute artwork using the Procreate app You turn that artwork into a repeating pattern You list that pattern for sale on Etsy You then make even more digital products with your digital art and list those too Eventually you have a full shop of digital art that can bring in some extra cash every month! You can even branch out into physical items and sell with print on demand (POD) through Etsy. My digital art pays me enough to cover monthly groceries, phone bills, car payments etc etc. While it's NOT quick overnight money, it's something that you can really build, and you don't need an art degree or any fancy equipment. Just comment ART if you're ready to learn how to draw these patterns!

I think most people spend way too much time on social media posts, and the pros are actually finding that spending less time and being more casual is resonating more in this AI age. We could design a post in a few minutes that would’ve taken several days just a year or so ago. Time spent on a post isn’t as valuable as it used to be!
