Did you know that India's space program was so impressive!? First founded in 1969, the ISRO is one of only 6 national space programs worldwide. India has made some impressive discoveries and advances in our understanding about space. India has become famous for its low-cost space programs and success in making it to Mars on the first try. India is definitely on track to be a top space power in the world. When people talk about India, they often talk about underdeveloped parts. They don't often talk about the parts where India is excelling in technology and worldwide advancement. I think it is worth acknowledging the successes India has had in their amazing space organization! #isro #mangalyaan #indianspaceresearchorganisation #space #mars

Mission Drishti is the successful launch of India's largest privately-built satellite, Drishti, which reached orbit on May 3, 2026. Developed by the Bengaluru-based startup GalaxEye Space, it is the world's first commercial "OptoSAR" satellite—a breakthrough technology that combines both high-resolution optical cameras and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) on a single platform. #IndianSpaceScience #Satellite #Starlink

Get your ISRO merch here and represent the Indian space program: https://amzn.to/4lf1bJG Space 🚀 for 🌎 Earth India is set to become the fourth nation (after Russia/USSR, the United States, and China) to develop a domestic capability to launch humans into space. In Hindi, they're called "gaganauts" rather than astronauts. India’s Gaganyaan mission represents the country’s ambitious foray into human spaceflight. Developed by ISRO, the spacecraft aims to carry three astronauts into low Earth orbit for a planned duration of three days. Scheduled for launch aboard the GSLV Mk III rocket, Gaganyaan includes critical safety measures such as an emergency escape system and advanced environmental controls. Key tests, including crew module recovery and abort systems, have been conducted, with crew training underway in India and Russia. This mission underscores India’s growing space capabilities and its focus on long-term space exploration goals. This launch is a test flight of the Gaganyaan capsule. #space #earth #india #isro #gaganyaan #human #spaceflight #astronauts.

ISRO creates history once again as it successfully launches its heaviest-ever satellite, BlueBird Block-2, aboard LVM3-M6 from Indian soil, marking a major leap for India's space capabilities and global commercial presence. The 6,100 kg satellite, developed by US-based AST SpaceMobile, has been placed into Low Earth Orbit and features a massive phased-array antenna designed to enable direct-to-cell 5G connectivity worldwide. This milestone mission further strengthens ISRO's reputation as a reliable heavy-lift launch provider on the global stage. He is coming to your L1 orbit The objective of Aditya L1 mission is to study Sun's Corona, Chromosphere and Photosphere. Aditya L1 shall be the first space based Indian mission to study the Sun. The spacecraft shall be placed in a halo orbit around the Lagrange point 1 (L1) of the Sun-Earth system, which is about 1.5 million km from the Earth. A satellite placed in the halo orbit around the L1 point has the major advantage of continuously viewing the Sun without any occultation/eclipses. This will provide a greater advantage of observing the solar activities and its effect on space weather in real time. The spacecraft carries seven payloads to observe the photosphere, chromosphere and the outermost layers of the Sun (the corona) using electromagnetic and particle and magnetic field detectors. Using the special vantage point L1, four payloads directly view the Sun and the remaining three payloads carry out in-situ studies of particles and fields at the Lagrange point L1, thus providing important scientific studies of the propagatory effect of solar dynamics in the interplanetary medium The suits of Aditya L1 payloads are expected to provide most crucial informations to understand the problem of coronal heating, coronal mass ejection, pre-flare and flare activities and their characteristics, dynamics of space weather, propagation of particle and fields etc. Given below is a list of payloads which have been used for the mission: • Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC) • Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) • Aditya Solar wind Particle Experiment (ASPEX) • Plasma Analyser Package for Aditya • Solar Low Energy X-ray Spectrometer (SoLEXS) • High Energy L1 Orbiting X-ray Spectrometer (HEL1OS) • Magnetometer Do follow @_explore.x for such a content! 🚀 INDIA'S SPACE REVOLUTION JUST GOT REAL! "Mission Drishti: Bharat's Young Minds Build World's First OptoSAR Satellite!" In a historic moment, GalaxEye has successfully launched Mission Drishti — the world’s first OptoSAR satellite that combines optical cameras with all-weather radar. This is also India’s largest privately-built satellite, proving that Indian youth are not just dreaming big, they are building the future! From Atmanirbhar innovation to making India a global Space Power, this achievement perfectly echoes PM Modi’s vision. Congratulations to the entire GalaxEye team! 🇮🇳 Amit Shah and Narendra Modi have already congratulated the young scientists — the whole nation is proud! This is more than a satellite launch. This is New India’s unstoppable rise. #MissionDrishti #GalaxEye #OptoSAR #SpacePowerIndia #ViksitBharat
