AMFrom long queues to empty pockets across Goa, the common man’s kitchen is under fire. While BJP Goa’s claims soar high, the numbers tell a different story.
Look at the Data:
Congress Government (2004–2014): A decade of gradual, inflation-linked increases. Prices moved from ₹280 to ₹414—a steady rise that kept kitchen budgets predictable.
BJP Government (2014–2026): A rollercoaster of sharp spikes and strategic cuts. We saw a 46% jump in just one year (2015), prices crossing the ₹1000 mark in 2022, and sudden “relief” cuts right before major elections.
Despite claims of easing people’s lives, the reality is different. Domestic gas prices have nearly tripled, putting pressure on Goan households. Rising LPG costs are also hurting small restaurants, beach shacks, and local businesses that power Goa’s tourism economy. With supply shortages reported in some areas, concerns of black-marketing and overcharging have also emerged, further burdening consumers.

While they print the numbers, here's what they hide:
→ ₹5,400 crore new debt added THIS year
→ ₹35,000+ crore total liability hanging over Goa's head
→ Tourism budget slashed from ₹440 to ₹385 crore in a state that runs on tourism
→ Propaganda budget ballooned to ₹212 crore your money, spent on their lies
→ 1.1 lakh Goan youth unemployed. 9.7% double India's average. And BJP's answer? A pathetic 2,500 jobs.
They borrow to brag. They slash what matters. They fund what flatters them.
Tourism cut. Jobs missing. Debt exploding. Propaganda thriving.
This isn't a budget for Goa. This is a budget against Goenkars.
@drpramodpsawant 's BJP has one mission loot silently, spend loudly, and hope you don't notice.
Goa deserves a government that builds jobs, revives tourism, and respects your money not a gang that borrows your children's future to run its own ad campaign.
