THThe @intergem Gem & Jewelry Show happening this weekend @gatewayconventioncenter in Collinsville! Here’s a few tips:
💎 This 3-day event starts on Friday and ends on Sunday, 10am-6pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday!
💎 It happens every year in March and September in Collinsville, IL (closest to STL)
💎They sell beads and other jewelry making supplies but they also sell fine jewelry, high-end pre-made costume jewelry and more!
💎There is a fee to enter, but you can go online and find a discount code or a free entry pass from one of the vendors online. Make sure you print out your coupon or free pass! I think admission $8.
💎As with all things, this used to be huge, but now it is smaller with less vendors so not a full day event, so if you visit check out some restaurants or other things to do around the area to fill your day!
💎Definitely not an event for small kids, kids under a certain age are not admitted. Check online if this may affect you and your family.
💎If you are a jewelry maker or an aspiring one, this is where you can get your supplies a lot cheaper than in stores! Many of the vendors have online sites as well.
💎Cash is king! All vendors take cards too but if you have cash you can negotiate prices that are lower than what is posted!
