Est-ce que la biodiversité est en train de devenir le plus gros risque économique dont personne ne parle vraiment ? Le rapport de l’IPBES a été publié ce lundi 9 février en urgence, et on en entend malheureusement peu parler dans les médias malgré son importance capitale pour l’avenir de nos sociétés. Pour rappel, l’IPBES, c’est un peu le GIEC de la biodiversité. Cet organisme international avait tiré la sonnette d’alarme en 2019 concernant l’effondrement de la biodiversité (70% des espèces ont déjà disparue de notre belle planète). Les scientifiques de l’IPBES ont construit un rapport spécifique sur le lien entre les entreprises et la nature, et comme le dit avec justesse l’Administrateur du Programme des Nations unies pour le développement : « La biodiversité est à la base de toute économie et de toute société. Elle génère des emplois et des revenus, régule le climat et soutient les systèmes d’alimentation ». 🤝 Il est crucial de s’emparer du sujet dès à présent. Les données et études sur le lien d’interdépendance entre la biodiversité, la gestion des ressources naturelle et notre économie sont maintenant largement suffisantes pour comprendre son importance et amorcer un tournant qui ne pourra être que payant ! #Biodiversité #IPBES #Stratégie #FinanceDurable #RSE #TransitionÉcologique 1 sem

Wer mag schon Wespen? Sie können stechen 🦟, fliegen 🪰 gerne am Frühstückstisch herum und bauen Nester an den ungünstigsten Stellen. Viele Menschen fühlen sich dadurch genervt und greifen ⁠ deshalb oft zu Insektiziden ⚗️, die es in Baumärkten oder Drogeriemärkten zu kaufen gibt. ⁠ ⁠ Was viele jedoch nicht wissen ist, dass auch viele Wespenarten, so wie auch Bienen 🐝, ebenso als geschützte Arten gelten. ⁠ Zusätzlich sterben durch die Insektizide nicht nur die Wespen ab, sondern auch alle anderen Insekten, die damit in Berührung kommen. Auch können Insektizide für Babys, Kleinkinder, Schwangere oder auch Haustiere gefährlich ein. Somit kann man mit Insektiziden mehr Schaden anrichten als gedacht. ⁠ ⁠ Doch auch das Zusammenleben mit den Wespen ist sehr gut möglich. Es gibt nämlich nur zwei Wespenarten, die den Frühstückstisch aufsuchen, die auch durch eine Ablenkfütterung (z. B. schon schlecht gewordenen Obst) vom Tisch fern gehalten werden können. Sollte man dann auch noch ein Nest im Garten finden, ist es wahrscheinlich sehr gut zu wissen, dass Wespenvölker im Normalfall im Herbst absterben und das alte Nest dann einfach (nach einer Wartezeit von 2 Wochen) entfernt werden kann. ⁠ ⁠ Grundsätzlich gilt die einfache Regel „Abstand halten“ und das harmonische Leben ist gesichert! ⁠ ⁠ Wer jetzt trotzdem in München zu Insektiziden greifen möchte, stößt dabei in den Baumärkten und Drogerien vielleicht auf unser Wespeninformationsblatt 📄, das wir in Zusammenarbeit mit dem ⁠ Referat für Klima- und Umweltschutz und der Landeshauptstadt München bereitstellen. ⁠ ⁠ !!Bitte unbedingt vor dem Kauf von Insektiziden über die Nebenwirkungen informieren!!! ⁠ ⁠ #wespen #biodiversität #naturschutz #IPBES #BUNDNaturschutz #hautflügler #insektizid ⁠

Mais leur existence est de plus en plus menacée par le changement climatique, la destruction de leur habitat et l’usage intempestif de pesticides. Pourtant, leur rôle de pollinisateur est primordial : selon un rapport de 2016 de l’@ipbes_ , 90 % des plantes à fleurs sauvages et 75 % des cultures vivrières dépendent en partie de la pollinisation animale ! 🌸 ° Donc, sans les pollinisateurs, on a plus grand chose à se mettre sous la dent. Mais que peut-on faire pour y remédier ? Construire plus de ruches ? Attention à cette fausse bonne idée : contrairement aux apparences, l’augmentation du nombre d’abeilles domestiques n’est pas sans conséquences sur les autres pollinisateurs. Here's the latest news from #IPBES by @imperialcollege PhD researcher @rhys.pa from day 4 of IPBES 12: the global meeting of 150 countries on biodiversity and nature. Scientists and experts have now drafted the new Business and Biodiversity Assessment report, which is now being reviewed by government officials line by line and will set the global standard for keeping businesses accountable for their impacts on nature.
