LKThis video shows my first prototype in action.
After this test, I replaced the original servos with new ones using metal bearings to improve precision and stability. Mechanically, it was the right decision.
However, I missed a critical step in the process: calibrating the servos before integration.
As a result, the movement here isn’t correct. Now the system needs to be opened again and all 17 servos calibrated individually before further testing.
It’s a good reminder that in robotics, progress isn’t just about better components — it’s about following the process carefully, every time.
Back to calibration, then testing again.

You can disagree with him. You can critique decisions. But laughing at a test that blew up is easy; designing the next one that works is hard. Art isn’t only on canvases — sometimes it’s stainless steel, cryogenic fuel, and code at 3 a.m.
