In 2018, the Norwegian association Finansforbundet released a ln incredible and powerful video for International Women’s Day.
This really highlights the reality of gender inequality we still have in the world and in a very simple way, through a child’s perspective and through children’s eyes.
A young boy and girl were given the same task and completed it the same way.
But their rewards?
Not equal at all.
And if even the young ones can see it, why can’t we?
The society.The world.
Equality is being fair.
It’s a world where knowledge, talent and effort and not gender, determine your opportunities and rewards.
And unfortunately it’s not a world that we have.
