The airport is a big development for sure, but its being misused by real estate brokers to justify the prices of luxury residential housing in Noida, here’s why:
Jewar is a 4 phased project with only the first phase about to commence operations, however that’s only 1 terminal and 1 runway with a 12 mn passengers annual capacity, which is only 10% of IGI!
There is not even an update on the construction plan of the 2nd phase, let alone its start
The whole project is a 20 year one
Today it will serve only 3 international destinations
So that does not mean its nothing, buying plots or projects with a fair pricing around the region is obviously beneficial, but getting this full picture is also important
Because some brokers say that buying luxury apartment is worth it without disclosing the full timelines of this airport
With such limited bandwidth, the main target audience who would buy such luxury would still be travelling via IGI to have access to a broader basket of international destinations, better flight times, and convenience
I am not against the development, I am against the sales pitch used in the name of this project at this time….
