Made at the last vulcanized show factory in Japan, this limited run uses reproduction Amoskeag late 1800s denim, meticulously recreated and milled in Japan based on original samples. Today, March 11 this year marks the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The devastating earthquake and resulting tsunami impacted the Tohoku region, including @speedwaysendai, John Lofgren’s store in store Sendai, Japan. Speedway has been conducting charity activities in support of recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake. A portion of the proceeds of all sales of this sneaker will be made to the Hatachi Fund. The Hatachi Fund supports children affected by the disaster by providing continuous assistance over a 20-year period. Since 2011, the fund has been used to support organizations working on the ground, helping provide children with opportunities for education and independence, based on the evolving needs of the affected areas. Donations are carefully directed to initiatives that benefit these children and support their future.
