How I transformed my body and my life… I’ve kept 30+ lbs off for years now. Here’s the truth, no sugar coating. ➡️ I got REALLY honest with myself - I aligned my actions with my thoughts, habits, and behaviors. I kept saying I wanted to reach my dream body but would treat my weekends so differently than my weekdays, and kept allowing myself to settle for less (with not just my heath, but my relationships, and day to day habits…) I now hold myself to a higher standard. ➡️ I stopped demonizing tracking my food. It’s a TOOL. Yes, balance is important to me BUT I now have a consistent plan. How do you expect to see results if you have no idea where you’re currently at? I got clear on my goals and use LOGIC not EMOTION to fuel my body. I cleaned up my nutrition and eliminated processed BS - focusing on 80-90% Whole Foods. ➡️ I changed my identity. I was the party girl - always saying “yes” to things that didn’t serve me. I stopped being a people pleaser and held boundaries. I eliminated the words “that’s just who I am” and took ownership of who I wanted to become. I became HER. ➡️ I cut people out of my life that I knew in the back of my head I was making excuses for. Your body is incredibly smart, your energy is sacred, and your environment dictates your outcomes. Cut them off. ➡️ I stopped calling drinking multiple days a week “balance.” With healing my relationship to alcohol, my body is less inflamed and able to lose weight much easier. Alcohol is a glorified toxin and although I do drink occasionally, I have limited my drinking a lot. ➡️ Sacrifice is not restriction. To be your best you must have discipline and make hard decisions. Be selfish. If there was no sacrifice in reaching goals, everyone would have their dream body. I know some of these may have been hard to read - it’s uncomfortable and can feel overwhelming. But your highest healthiest self doesn’t live in comfort. Go all in.
