Passed down through generations, the craft blends cotton for resilience, silk for softness, and shimmering gold Zari for a touch of timeless opulence.
Kota Doria, with its distinctive square weave and hallmark triangle imprint, has a history entwined with royalty and artistry. As we walked these narrow lanes, welcomed into weavers’ homes, I saw firsthand the patience and precision behind every thread. It’s a world far removed from the usual tourist trails—part of the textile journeys I lead, connecting travelers with the soul of Indian craftsmanship.
