There are so many positives that come from getting children in the garden. Whether itโs a better understanding of where our food comes from (and the reward from eating it!), the self-confidence to take on a project and see it through to success and/or how to deal with the occasional failure, the appreciation for pollinators and creating an environment for them to thrive, or just the mental and physical benefits of working in the yard for a bit, you name it, itโs a good thing to encourage kids to be gardeners.
