With your kindle on airplane mode, you have time to finish what you’re reading! And then when you’re ready to download another book, just take it off airplane mode. And, for those precious Libby holds, the book will go to the next person in line. It’ll only be on your kindle until it syncs with wifi again, so you aren’t keeping it from whoever is next. It’s the easiest trick but it’s definitely my favorite! The X-Ray features allows you to highlight the character’s name, go to xray, then see when they were first mentioned and you can choose to view all their mentions in the story! This is perfect for when that random side character that hasn’t been mentioned for most of the book pops up and you have no idea who they are 😂 I’ve had to use this feature a lot with The Cruel Prince series 😅 💬 Do you like to change your kindle case/ stickers with the seasons? THIS NEW KINDLE UPDATE IS MAKING ME INSANE 😭 I thought it was just me but after ranting on threads someone said they were having the same problem. The new @amazonkindle update has made highlighting so much harder. -It won’t let you highlight past any italicized words or “-“ or if a chapter starts with a large capital letter it doesn’t let you select it. -It prompts me to change the highlight color constantly even if I am just trying to continue to use the same color. -When I try to click my highlighted text it’ll change the page. -Highlighting to the next page has gotten significantly harder, it takes longer and sometimes automatically will select to highlight the whole next page. -My highlight colors have changed from a vibrant color to a pale shade. YES I TRIED RESTARTING MY KINDLE MULTIPLE TIMES I’m on my 3rd book this week and this has happened with both ARC’s and books on @kindleunlimitedbooks Amazon I’m begging you PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK 🙏 Normally I wouldn’t care about something like this but as someone who reads and annotates her books a lot this has become so time consuming and stressful #fyp #reels #reel #bookstagram #kindle
