TRYork 5k New PB
Yesterday I completed in the Evensplits York 5k. Leading up to the race I knew I was in good fitness as I had ran a road 5k PB at Woodhouse Moor Parkrun a couple of weeks before and felt good during the VO2 Max Test. I went out pretty hard but then settled into pace and ran a 3:47 for the first km and 3:58 for the second. As per usual my pace dropped for the third km as I ran a 4:01 and the same for the 4th. I managed to pick it back up for the last km running a 3:54 and an 18.6s final 100m as my watch clocked it as 5.1km. In the end I ran 19:58 which is a huge achievement as I've been trying for Sub20 for the last couple of years and is a 32s overall 5k PB and a 34s road 5k PB.

I honestly couldn’t believe how well the man was moving this morning. I was lucky enough to bump into Sam during my session and thought it was a golden opportunity to ask him some hard hitting questions.

KIAnia Łyczko czyli @mama_aktywna potrzebowała trzech lat, by zebrać wszystkie klejnoty Korony Polskich Ultramaratonów, czyli ukończyć 10 epickich wyścigów ultra wskazanych kilka lat temu przez naszą redakcję. Ta totalnie niekomercyjna zabawa dla jak nam się wydawało kilku zapaleńców, dziś może się pochwalić 65 finiszerami.
Ania jako ostatni bieg wybrała ten jak to określiła - najbardziej wymagający @bieggraniatatr. Na plecak przyczepiła etykietę z namalowaną koroną i hasłem „Dziś ukończę Koronę”, by wraz z innymi biegaczami móc cieszyć się finałem tego projektu.

Breaking in our 24’ underground with the @dirtking boys was chill but now there’s a bigger conversation happening.

That @cbioffroad Covert took the brush like a champ but after reevaluating how hard I am on these vehicles… I’m going to need a full width bumper before long. And let’s be honest, the offroad gods know I’m not paying for a paint correction after the first trip out. 😂😂 - Many more hits will follow.
One thing’s for sure, those @arroyotires took a 1/2” stick to the sidewall and after a plug, they were good go for the rest of the trip and it’s still on right now. 🤌🏽😅.
