Not only is this the greatest kunzite ever discovered in Brazil, but it’s the greatest kunzite ever discovered, period. Not one single chip or inclusion 🤯🤯🤯, and the coolest part of it is the pointy termination. Rarely did this locality produce perfect shapes and forms. This is because it was alluvial within the pegmatite. They usually formed in unusual shapes.
Anyways, my favorite part about this rock has nothing to do with its quality, and has everything to do with the story behind it. One night at the Denver Mineral Show many years ago, Gene Meieran walked into my room and told me something I never expected. He told me he had a dream about me owning many of the greatest rocks in his collection. I laughed and said the only problem is I’m not rich enough to do so. Anyways, long story short, I was able to manifest a significant purchase that still to this day gives me goosebumps.
Now, after much planning and years of work, THE TERRA COLLECTION will make its debut at the Nanjing Mineral Show 🔥🔥🤯🤯🔥🔥! This has taken a lifetime of dedication and hard work to assemble, and is a time capsule of many of the world’s greatest minerals. It is not duplicatable and will remain one of the most significant collections ever assembled in history. Look forward to showing it to the world soon. Hopefully many of you will attend.
