HIHere’s what I mean…
1 day do one persons laundry, so you’re doing their laundry once a week. Then throw in a load of towels or sheets. Towels and sheets are easier to fold and put away. You’re already in a “laundry mindset” changing laundry, folding, etc from doing 1 load, so take advantage and do 1 more!
This keeps me from doing laundry on the weekends, which I love. I’m a big fan of making a weekend feel like a weekend especially with busy schedules.
We all deserve weekends off from laundry. Try it this week. Play around with it and see what works for you!
*Because I always get asked: each kid has their own basket, I do their laundry one at a time, unless someone doesn’t have much for some reason, I’ll combine. I don’t separate their colors and whites because, truthfully, they don’t have a lot of whites.
JT and I have 2 baskets, 1 for colors, 1 for whites. I do our laundry together.

BYMy laundry hack to keep it feeling under control ⬇️
With 6 humans in one house it seems the washing pile is NEVER ENDING!!!!
My number 1 hack to keep it feeling under control is to have a clean basket for each individual in the house.
I then sort it from the dryer or line into that basket and keep the basket in their room.
I fold it and put it away when I have a spare few minutes or at night when I’m putting them to bed. It only takes a few minutes to fold and a couple to put away once sorted.
This helps to keep the laundry clear of clutter and makes my mind feel more at ease.
A couple of other laundry tips from my community:
1. Do a load each day and fold and put it away straight away. 2. Set your washing machine to start early in the morning so when you wake the washing is done and you can just dry and put it away.
3. Hang clothing on hangers on the line so you can put it straight in the wardrobe when dry.
4. No fold. Lots of you say you don’t fold. Simply throw in the drawers.
