AB18 year old Elder Aleki Langi is remembered by family for his big smile, excitement for life, and his sometimes over the top confidence.
Elder Langi, from Magna, was on mission in North Carolina. He was walking with his two companions on a sidewalk when a driver lost control of their vehicle and drove off the road into the missionaries, according to the @churchofjesuschrist . Langi died from his injuries.
His family tell ABC4's @jordantracytv that Langi’s confidence led him to always excitedly tell them every time he felt like he looked good.

BUStanding on that beach with my son, watching baby sea turtles begin their incredible journey to the ocean, felt like witnessing a piece of heaven.
It was their first, crucial step toward finding home, and it reminded me so profoundly of our own spiritual journey back to our Heavenly Father.
Moments like these remind me of the immense responsibility and privilege I have as a father to guide and uplift my children.
In this life, we’re all making our way home, striving to stay on the path that leads us to God. As Elder José A. Teixeira said, “Understanding who you truly are better prepares you to recognize and remember your way back to your heavenly home and yearn to be there”  .
Like those turtles following an unseen compass, we are guided by our divine identity and the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
I’m grateful to share experiences like this one with my son, teaching him not only the wonders of God’s creations but also the principles that light our way.
Here’s to being inspired by the courage of little sea turtles and finding faith to press forward on our own journeys.
