Nonprofits get the applause while Corporations get the check. I built a corporation in a space where everyone around me was running nonprofits — and when it was time to move on, I exited with leverage. That only happens when your structure is built for ownership, not optics. Here's what they don't teach women in mission-driven spaces: you can serve your community and secure your financial future. These are not competing goals. But the structure you choose from day one determines which one wins. Corporate structure gives you revenue on your terms, assets you actually own, the ability to scale without bureaucratic bottlenecks, and an exit strategy that builds generational wealth. A nonprofit gives you a tax exemption and dependency on other people's goodwill. I'm not anti-nonprofit. I'm pro-intention. Know what you're building — and know what it will cost you if you build it wrong. The most dangerous thing a visionary woman can do is pour everything into a structure that was never designed to pay her back. Structure is strategy. Choose it wisely. ⬇️ Save this. Après 10 ans de salariat, c’est un échec inattendu qui l’a poussée vers l’entrepreneuriat. Bloquée en France sans emploi, elle a décidé de se lancer dans l’aventure avec pour seul bagage sa passion et sa détermination. Ce qui la motive aujourd’hui ? Ouvrir la voie pour les autres femmes et inspirer celles qui hésitent encore à se lancer. « Quand la porte ne s’ouvre pas, dessine une fenêtre », dit-elle avec conviction. Et c’est exactement ce qu’elle a fait, en construisant sa première entreprise « en public » via les réseaux sociaux. En partageant ouvertement ses réussites comme ses échecs, elle a su bâtir une communauté et une entreprise florissante. Elle partage aujourd’hui son expérience dans son livre From Zero to Hero : bâtir son influence sur les réseaux, publié aux éditions Eyrolles.
