Not fully stopping at a stop sign. A lot of learners slow down gradually until they can see it’s safe and speed up again. This is wrong as you have to completely STOP! Not even a tiny roll on the tire. It’s a STOP sign for a reason! Increasing your speed too early when you’re approaching a higher speed limit ahead. For example some learners are on a 30mph and they see a 40mph ahead so they speed up to 35mph as they’re approaching the 40 sign. This is ILLEGAL since you are going 35 on a 30 zone still! When turning right on a one way road. A lot of learners will position themselves on the left hand side of the end of the road like how they usually would on a normal road however this is WRONG! On a one way road, be on the left if you’re turning left and be on the right if you’re turning right! Remember this! These are things that could catch you out very easily cos you wouldn’t think of it normally. It’s actually not very obvious. It really does help if you know the roads and routes before your driving test tho. I got this app ‘practice driving test’ and it was the reason I passed so download it guys it’s free. Just sharing my gem to you guys!! Good luck!!! Link in bio #practicedrivingroutes #passfirsttime #practicedrivingtestuk #drivingtesttips #completeguidfordriving

Would you have stopped in the right place? 🤔🚴‍♂️ This is where learners lose easy marks on their driving test. You MUST stop before the second white line — not on the cycle lane. It’s small… but it’s a fail. You’re allowed 15 minors on your test. But even 1 serious fault would be an instant fail. Anything that’s marked S/D (serious/ dangerous) on the examiners mark sheet is a serious fault. This means you did something unsafe or showed poor judgment which could have lead to danger. You can actually fail for driving too slowly. There’s a speed limit for a reason and if you purposely go under it for no reason it could get dangerous for the cars around you. You will fail for climbing a curb! You will be let off if you clip or touch it but you should never climb it. (Unless the examiner tells you so during parking) There’s only so many possible test routes that you will go through since a driving test is based around the driving test centre. If you want to practice the routes download the ‘Practice driving test’ app. I’ve put a link in the bio! You can drive home as soon as you pass. You do not need your physical licence since you have your certificate. Make sure your car is properly taxed and insured though. #practicedrivingroutes #practicedrivingtestuk #passfirsttime #drivingtesttips #completeguidfordriving

🚗 Driving Test Fault #1: Poor Observations at Junctions One of the most common reasons learners fail their driving test is not observing properly at junctions. This usually happens when drivers rush their decision or don’t look carefully enough before moving. Here are some real situations where this happens: Example 1 You arrive at a T-junction turning right. You quickly look once to the right and left and pull out. A car from the right is closer than you expected and has to slow down. Example 2 You stop at the junction but only focus on traffic coming from the right and forget to properly check the left before moving. Example 3 Your view is blocked by parked cars near the junction. Instead of creeping forward slowly to improve your view, you move out too quickly. Example 4 You focus so much on traffic that you don’t notice a pedestrian about to cross the road. Example 5 You check once, see a car far away, and assume it’s safe. By the time you move out, the car is much closer than you thought. ✅ How to avoid this • Slow down early when approaching junctions • Stop if needed and take your time • Always check right → left → right again • If your view is blocked, creep forward slowly • Watch for pedestrians and cyclists 💡 Remember: The examiner isn’t looking for perfect driving — they want to see that you observe properly and make safe decisions. ⸻ Sang Driving School Automatic Driving Lessons 📞 07438 026116 ✉️ sangdrivingschool@gmail.com 📍 Sidcup • Erith • Bexley • Dartford
