This is the ultimate leftover products that everyone uses this in the kitchen and we all could reduce the waste and save money in the process. This is all my garlic and onion peels ,stored in the freezer and when I have enough this is what I do with it . What you could do with it , you can make your own spices for cooking ,roast vegetables or barbecue rubs …etc . Of course you can always put this leftovers in the compost instead of the rubbish bags but I went one step further and put it to good use in my cooking. I think is a good solution for everyone who doesn’t have a backyard or compost bin. Save your money and reduce waste! @savefulorg #leftoverlegend

🌟 Become a #LeftoverLegend with my easy Chicken Fried Rice! 🍚✨ Did you know that in Aotearoa, we waste over 12,000 tonnes of leftovers every year? Let’s change that! Instead of tossing out your leftover rice, transform it into a delicious meal with this quick and tasty recipe. 👩‍🍳 Watch how I turn yesterday’s rice into today’s feast, using the handy Reusable Eat Me First stickers to keep track of what needs to be eaten first. 🏷️ Check out @LoveFoodHateWasteNZ which has great ideas for reducing food waste and saving money by getting creative with your leftovers. Check out the full recipe: Chicken & Pineapple Fried Rice Ingredients * 1 Tbsp sesame oil * 3 cups cooked white rice * 500g chicken breast, diced * 1½ cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed * 2 eggs * 3 Tbsp soy sauce * 2 Tbsp oyster sauce * 2 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce * 300g pineapple pieces * 1 spring onion, finely sliced Instructions 1. In a large non-stick frying pan, heat the oil over a medium heat. Add the rice and stir fry for a few minutes. 2. Move the rice to the outside of the pan and add the chicken. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. 3. Add the mixed veggies and stir. Push the mixture out to the edges to make a space in the centre. Crack in the eggs and let them cook like a mini omelette. Fold the egg over and use the end of the spatula to cut into pieces. 4. In a small jug, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce and sweet chilli then pour it into the pan and stir to coat the rice. Add the pineapple and spring onion and stir once more. 5. Once the chicken is cooked through and everything is piping hot, divide between bowls and serve immediately.

Method: * Add nachos to a tray lined with baking paper * Add your nachos and top with sauce and grated tasty cheese. * Bake in a preheated 210° oven for 10 minutes. * Top with diced tomato, diced red capsicum and fresh spring onion. * Serve with sour cream or Greek yoghurt.
