AZNocturnal Lepidoptera of Tambopata Peru
Otherwise known as moths, their diversity in the tropics is unmatched. The differences we can see, the colors, shapes and sizes, are just the beginning to this endless diversity. The unseen differences such as bat sonar disruption from the tiger moths or fowl smelling poisons from the buck moths, make each species unique and perfectly crafted to survive within this rainforest. However, for many of them, very little is known, which makes studying them a worthwhile endeavor.
