In this video, I’m covering the Libre 3 sensor recall and the recent FDA warning letter following FDAs inspection of the Libre factory in California, US. 🟡 Recall • Some Libre 3 & Libre 3 Plus sensors • Issue: inaccurate low glucose readings • Lot-specific — not all sensors • Affected users offered replacements 🔁 • Check your sensor at 👉 freestylecheck.com 🏭 FDA inspection • Libre manufacturing facility in Alameda, California • Inspection date: 14 October 2025 📄 FDA warning letter • Issued 23 January 2026 following the inspection • Focused on procedures, processes, and documentation • Abbott is actively working on addressing all points raised 🔍 Big picture • Dexcom has received a similar FDA warning letter following FDA inspections of its manufacturing facilities I think it’s important that I report on safety, quality, and manufacturing issues — not just new device approvals etc. I see it as a critical part of technology.
