Set to “Recruiters only” to avoid the green banner. 2. Design a custom banner in Canva. Add your name, target role, 2-3 key skills, and email. 90% of profiles leave this blank. 3. Add skills and value proposition to your headline. Format: “[Role] | [Skills] | [Value Prop]” Example: “Marketing Manager | SEO, Content | Helping B2B Brands Convert” 4. Make your About section sound human. Start with a hook, tell your story, add one personal detail, end with contact info. Write like you’re talking to a colleague. 5. Use XYZ format for experience bullets. “Accomplished X by doing Y, resulting in Z.” Example: “Increased engagement 45% by implementing content calendar, gaining 10K followers.” 6. Upload media files to each experience entry. Add presentations, projects, articles. Visual proof beats text. 7. Reorder skills for relevance and get endorsements. Put job-relevant skills first. What do you think about LinkedIn games and the quest to be the ‘Everything App’? And all theory and analysis aside, I think word games are a ‘the more the merrier’ kind of thing at least in my book because I enjoy them SO much. I don’t find any of the LinkedIn games as sticky as the Wordle, Connections, and the other NYT ones, bht if you don’t like them or are wanting to withdraw your support from the NYT for their biased reporting and play something else, then these ones might be a good choice for you! Otherwise, pen and paper crosswords and sudoku, and quizzing and trivia nights with friends are always top tier for me! 🧠🫶🏼🥰💪🥸
