CJAI can design a better logo than you… that’s what people keep saying to me recently. 😅
True story, my client actually tried to use AI to make their own logo, but the moment he saw what it spat out, he reached out to me to do it properly.
AI didn’t do him, his ideas, his product, his business or his brand the justice it deserves. So together, me and Tim built something far more awesome with a bunch of soul.
Melting Man is a skincare brand designed for dudes who just want to put their best foot forward when it comes to their skincare routines, but don’t want to take themselves too seriously.
The brief for this project was wicked. Tim loved the idea of a visual identity that adopted grunge, punk, skate culture but blended with 1950s atomic era iconography. And he made one thing very clear to me…”I want a melting face for the logo”.
So I went away and designed a hand-drawn illustrative mark of a literal melting man. Part skull. Part face. Dripping, warped and totally badass. And fleshed out a visual identity and packaging that screams rebellious and disruptive.
Thank you Tim for trusting me with your awesome brand and ideas. I was lucky enough to try Melting Man products before anyone else and I have to say, it’s absolutely awesome!
Sure, AI can generate logos…but it can’t replace conversation, collaboration, and creativity between two humans trying to build something meaningful.
