Our longliners use one continuous line that is roughly 40 miles long, with around 70,000 baited hooks on it. No big nets. This hook-and-line gear allows us to haul each fish onboard one fish at a time. This type of fishing results in a 95% target species catch rate. Which means less bycatch and less impact on the ocean. This method of fishing is considered the most sustainable, eco-friendly, and noninvasive process in the world! We believe it’s important to know what you are eating and where it comes from.
