KITELOOP CRASH REVIEW ⚠️🥴 massive kudos for @manconienrico for sending us this video while he was progressing through his kiteloops. The main learning lessons are 1) avoid brutal chop and waves when initially going for kiteloops and 2) face the direction of the loop to avoid unintentional rotations. Obviously finding flat water isn’t always possible but we highly recommend driving for it for your first kiteloop sessions. It will make a world of difference being able to have a consistent vertical pop every time. Riding in chops/waves will initially increase the sketch factor by a lot since it will be much harder to manage a good take off. The big crash was mainly cause by his body position. This is a super common issue and is one that we personally faced when we were learning loops. Losing control and going into an unwanted rotation is probably the worst thing that can happen during a kiteloop.
