👉 ഇതിനെ പലപ്പോഴും localhost എന്നാണ് വിളിക്കുന്നത്.

1. സ്വന്തം സിസ്റ്റത്തിന്റെ നെറ്റ്വർക്ക് ടെസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ
ping 127.0.0.1 കൊടുത്താൽ, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ/റൗട്ടർ സ്വന്തം TCP/IP സ്റ്റാക്ക് ശരിയായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കാം.
2. ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകൾ തമ്മിൽ സംവദിക്കാൻ
ഒരു സിസ്റ്റത്തിൽ റൺ ചെയ്യുന്ന സർവറിനും ക്ലയന്റിനും, പുറം നെറ്റ്വർക്ക് ഇല്ലാതെയും, ലൂപ് ബാക്ക് IP വഴി ബന്ധപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയും.
