IAHey everyone,so I wanted to get the opinion on this video. This is my finals match for the 40 kg. My opponent shoots a double after I catch a front head lock then lifts my leg up. At this point I can’t sprawl my leg back so I just wrap my leg over and finish the guillotine. Then the coach from the other side claims it was a standing guillotine and I had to finish on my back. After it got reviewed they gave my opponent the option to give me a negative and continue the match or get DQ and they chose to DQ me. I personally wouldn’t want any of my opponents to get DQ as for me I wouldn’t want to win like that. I respect the decision and definitely will learn from it. So look at the video and tell me what you guys think. Send it to your jiujitsu buddies and see what they think.
