Previously, I had done a similar test on my server, but now it’s running perfectly on macOS too. I connected an SFP28 network card via a PCIe-to-Thunderbolt 4 adapter — and the Mac recognized it instantly, no drivers needed! This process will take around 40 minutes and you will be good to go. Step 10: Once the macOS is live- On the desktop, right-click on Install macOS Sonoma file and Eject it. Step 11: Right click on VM, and Install VMWare tools, you need to grant permission from under Settings app.
