Controlling Light in Macro Photography For this shot, the goal wasn’t to add more light everywhere… it was really about controlling where the light goes. I underexposed the scene first, then slowly built the lighting step by step to reveal the shape of the subject (which honestly… I still have no idea what it is 😉) The @amarancreators Ace 25c + Magnetic Grid made it really easy to shape the light and control spill without lighting up the whole scene. I ended up calling this shot Hidden Bloom. Shot at f/3.5 and stacked from around 70 images to keep the subject sharp while keeping the background soft. How I shoot macro video on my phone 📱 👇🏻 I shot this macro video on my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra using Pro Video mode to control the lighting and details. For sharp and clean results, I kept the ISO between 50–200 in good natural light to avoid noise and maintain rich details. In slightly low light, I increased the ISO up to 400 while keeping the shutter speed around 1/60 for smooth motion. I locked the focus manually to get perfect sharpness on the subject and moved the phone slowly for a cinematic macro effect. Good lighting and low ISO always make macro shots look more professional and detailed. 🎥 The way I captured this macro video - first open my camera app more settings my camera app - selected pro video mode & adjusted Iso Shutter White balance 🍃 - I use iso below 150 shutter speed 1/180 S - Main important the focus settings 📈 - adjust Manual focus - 0 zero 0️⃣ - then shoot #macrovideo #macro #mubeen_photographer ²@samsungindia #GalaxyAl #Samsung GalaxyS25Ultra galaxys25 GalaxyS25Ultra shotonsamsung
