• @almbahn.tirol → our favourite for beginners & easygoing family skiing. Wide, comfortable slopes perfect for kids learning confidence & fun ski school @skischule.bergsport.total – short drive away
• Zugspitze Glacier → more advanced slopes (not too difficult though) ski across the border into Germany 🇩🇪 – ski in ski out

• ¾ board — food sorted, no daily planning needed 🍽️
• Kids club & supervised activities
• Indoor playrooms, climbing walls & daily kids program

TOTaking your toddler on a chair lift for the first time? 🚠❄️ Here is my step-by-step safety checklist for a smooth ride:
✨ Prep: Explain the process to them beforehand and double-check that all gloves and goggles are secure.
✨ Hands-Free: Leave your poles behind so you can focus entirely on assisting your little one.
✨ The Harness: I always use the @hobbledehoo harness. It is my top choice because of the sturdy handles on the front and back—keep a firm grip on that back handle for the entire journey!
✨ Boarding: Communicate with the operator—they are there to help or even slow the lift if needed.
✨ Seating: Keep skis flat and parallel. Once the bar is down, make sure their skis are on the footrest and they are sitting all the way back.
✨ The Exit: Count down like a rocket launch 🚀 to make unloading fun and predictable!

MTMust-do ski hacks with kids 🎿
1️⃣ Bring snacks. Then more snacks. Then emergency snacks 🍫
2️⃣ Big backpack = extra layers, spare gloves, water, and all the chaos 🎒
3️⃣ Use a toboggan between the slopes and your cabin/hotel (if allowed) 🛷
4️⃣ Take lots of breaks - meltdowns are part of the program 😅
5️⃣ A harness can help in the beginning, just don’t rely on it too long 👶🎿
✨ Surprising tip: bring two pairs of gloves per kid (could be a thick and thin pair). One pair will get wet. Always 🧤🧤
