SYMy first time at @millerandcarter. 🔥
Finally used our Christmas voucher at our local spot @millerandcarterparbold with @teambradshaw28, and what an evening it turned into. From the moment we walked in, it just felt like a proper occasion… relaxed vibe, great service, and a meal that absolutely delivered.
I went in not knowing what to expect… came out already planning the next visit!

Last week we headed along to try out Miller & Carter’s midweek set menu, 3 courses from £36.50 running every Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm! There’s so much to choose from and it’s such a great spot if you’re looking for a slightly elevated, good value midweek dinner with the girls💋 We also ordered a few other sides for the table with their 3 for £12 deal - mac & cheese, creamed spinach and sautéed greens & chantenay carrots!!
To start we shared the burrata, salt & pepper calamari and the sticky chipotle chicken! All three were so good but the chicken was definitely the standout⭐️
Moving onto mains and the steak experience was such a highlight, you have free rein over your cut, how it’s cooked, your sauce, wedge dressing and a side. I went for a fillet, cooked rare with béarnaise, long clawson stilton & blue cheese wedge and the camembert mashed potato which is an absolute non negotiable🧀🤤
What an absolute feast we had and if we weren’t full already… dessert was caramel biscuit torte, sticky toffee pudding and triple chocolate brownie 🍫

We visited the Mirfield branch, we have driven past this one so many times & have always thought the building was beautiful & inside was even better, just giving that “date night” vibe!🩷
What stood out most was how effortlessly everything came together. The atmosphere, the service, the energy of the room - it all worked in sync to create the perfect mid week date night!🫶🏼
Of course, the food played its part, complementing the evening perfectly🥩 You just can’t fault the steaks, or the sides here at all.
If you’re looking for somewhere that elevates an ordinary week day evening, please try @millerandcarter. They offer a mid week set menu on a Wednesday & Thursday from 3pm, - 3 course meal with a starting price of £35.50 - bargain!😅

We were really impressed with the menu selections from the starters to steaks, chateaubriand sharing board. The menu offers high quality ingredients for a reasonable price obviously you can add upgrades to our meal for a supplement cost. The wine list is also not to be missed nor the wine cellar as you walk into the venue

LIWe recently tried the lunchtime special at Miller & Carter and it’s fantastic value starting from just £18.95.
The steak was cooked perfectly—juicy, full of flavour, and even better with the rich beef dripping sauce. The chips were crisp and fluffy, and the onion loaf on the side was a great addition—crispy, savoury, and really elevated the dish.
The pork tomahawk was tender and paired nicely with the red wine sauce, again served with perfectly cooked chips. The child’s fish fingers and chips were simple but well done.
To finish, the white chocolate crème brûlée was creamy with a perfect caramelised top—an ideal dessert.
Overall, great quality food and excellent value. Definitely worth a visit! @millerandcarterotterspool #eat #foodiegram #eating #foodie #fyp
