You’ll learn about maple trees, taste the sap, work with the tools involved, and enjoy sweet maple treats. (Program lasts approximately 45 minutes) 🧣Dress for the weather as the program is held outdoors (events will be held rain, snow, or shine — exceptions are made for extreme weather) 🍁 Best for ages 3-11 (for the 12+ there’s a Maple Stroll that might be more enjoyable) 🎟️ TICKETS: Adult Member: $12 | Nonmember: $20 Child Member: $12 | Nonmember: $20 Children 2 and under are free Space is limited for this event so pre-registration is strongly encouraged 🕑HOURS: Property Hours: Open daily, Sunrise to Sunset. Farm Store Hours: December 26-February 6 Tuesday-Sunday: 10AM-4PM Closed Mondays ♿️ There are accessible parking spots and restrooms on the property, as well as some of their trails being considered wheelchair friendly (wide, flat dirt road) 🥖 The Appleton Farm Store is open year-round to the public. To celebrate the sweetest season in New England, I made a visit to a local sugar house in Western Mass - @northhadleysugarshack. 🍁 During sugar season, they have an amazing menu that features their homemade pancakes and maple syrup. I chose the Sap Tank that also includes eggs and home fries. 🍁 Following breakfast, take a tour of their evaporator room to learn more about the boiling process.
