DUWater marbling is an ancient artistic technique in which drops of paint float on water to create beautiful swirling patterns. The practice dates back centuries and developed in regions such as Turkey and Japan. It combines deliberate artistic control with a touch of natural unpredictability.
In this process, artists place drops of acrylic paint or nail polish onto the surface of water and gently manipulate the colors into flowing designs. Paper, fabric, or even nails are then dipped into the water to transfer the pattern. Because the colors move freely across the water’s surface, every design produced is completely unique. 🎨
