How to study Maths 📚👇 You don’t hate Maths. You hate: • confusion • silly mistakes • not knowing where to start Maths punishes gaps. Fix the gaps → fear disappears. 🌟 Rule 1: Maths Is Daily - Not Long Stop studying Maths once a week for 5 hours. Instead: ✔ 45–60 minutes ✔ Every single day Maths rewards frequency, not intensity. 🌟 The Only Order That Works For every chapter, follow this: 1️⃣ Formula understanding 2️⃣ Solved examples 3️⃣ Easy questions 4️⃣ Exam-level questions 🥲Jumping directly to hard sums = panic. 🌟 Your Biggest Enemy: Speed Most mistakes come from rushing. Do this: • Write every step •Box final answers •Slow down in first 5 questions 👉🏻Accuracy builds speed. Not the other way around. 🌟 The 20-Question Rule To master any chapter: ✔ Solve 20–30 quality questions ✔ Not 100 random ones Focus on: • different types • different traps Maths repeats patterns, not numbers. 🌟 Non-Negotiable Topper Habit Keep a Mistake Copy 📒 Write: • wrong question • correct method • why you messed up Revise this before exams. 🫶🏻✨😎 This alone can push you from 70 → 95+. 🙂‍↔️Exam-Day Rule That Saves Marks Attempt Maths like this: • Easy questions first •Medium next • Tough ones last Confidence > bravery. 📌 Save this before your next Maths test. More tips below 🌟 ⚡️Use Active Recall: Test yourself by solving problems from memory without looking at notes. ⚡️Apply Spaced Repetition: Revisit the same problems or concepts after increasing intervals (e.g., 1 day, 3 days, 1 week). ⚡️Choose 2-3 topics (e.g., geometry, algebra, trigonometry). • Practice problems from each topic in a shuffled order rather than completing one topic at a time.

🔥 Hate math but still want that 99/100 flex? Here’s how to study in a way that actually makes it bearable and boosts your marks fast: 🎮 Gamification — Turn revision into a challenge. Set timers, track streaks, reward yourself for finishing problem sets. When studying feels like a game, it stops feeling like pain. 📄 Past Papers — Math exams repeat the same styles of questions. Do enough past papers and patterns start jumping out at you. Suddenly the “hard” questions aren’t hard anymore—they’re familiar. 📝 Fake Cheat Sheet — Make a one-page summary of formulas, rules, and key methods. Condensing everything forces you to understand what genuinely matters. 🧠 Feynman Technique — Explain each topic like you’re teaching a 12-year-old. If you can’t break it down simply, you don’t know it deeply—go back, fix the gaps, and try again. You don’t have to love math to dominate it. You just need the right system. 99/100 is absolutely on the table.

How I got As in math? by 🍳 1. Learn the concept: take notes in lectures, read slides and do your readings. If you still do not understand things, consult YouTube or various textbooks/online lecture slides. 2. Familiarize yourself with the concept through practice problems: Start with the simple problems first and find out where in the “basic” knowledge you don’t understand. It doesn’t take you long to realize if you get the basic concepts down or not. 3. Learn, practice and repeat! There is really not much to learning to “learn” math! It’s just simply practicing the concepts you learn, having the muscle memory and acing the exams! Do various examples and problems from different textbooks/past papers/exams! This is how everyone gets better! It’s almost impossible to make huge leaps in understanding, so it’s usually more productive in the long run to take many tiny steps instead. (At least, in my experience!) For example: 1. Find the right resources for your current level, where you mostly understand what’s going on but there’s a little bit of new information to focus on (and then find the right resources for the level after that, and so on) 2. Break every new topic, theorem or formula into the tiniest possible pieces, and learn something about each of those pieces separately before bringing them together again 3. Build a library of supplementary resources for visualisations and intuitions to use alongside textbooks, like 3Blue1Brown, Better Explained, Seeing Theory, and countless more that are easily found by searching Google, YouTube and Instagram) If you have any more tactics for making studying mathematics easier, please comment to share 📚
