Split them evenly between players. Turn one over at the same time, answer the calculation… and the highest product wins both cards. Simple. Fast. Surprisingly addictive. Because the pattern doesn’t repeat for 10 whole turns… which forces students to rely on strategy, not rote learnt facts. Instead of counting by ones or guessing their way through, students learn to: • Use number bonds • Bridge to 10 • Visualise part-part-whole • Strengthen mental maths Concrete ➡️ Visual ➡️ Mental.
