Ahhh currently losing my mind over this. The symbolism is insane!
Luke looks at the X-wing and immediately decides it’s impossible.
Devon looks at her cell and does the exact same thing.
“This is totally different.”
“Clearly that’s not possible.”
It was never about the swamp or the cell.
Yoda and Maul are complete opposites in every way—light vs dark, patience vs pressure—but they’re teaching the same exact lesson. Breaking out of the mental box you’ve trapped yourself in.
“Do or do not. There is no try.”
“By all means, Jedi… leave.”
But both force their apprentices to face the same truth:
The only thing holding you back… is you.
Damn talk about some genius writing. While there are so many contrasts between the light and dark side of the force, it's interesting to see its users teach the same lesson. I love you Star Wars
