Go for the $13 one—so worth it, super filling, and LOADED with meat. As someone who usually goes for rice or noodles, sandwiches aren’t my go-to—but this place completely changed my mind. They now have TWO locations in Vancouver (Davie St + a new one near Gastown 👀), so you really have no excuse not to try. Here’s my ranking: 🥇 Steakhouse Steak (OG) — chimichurri is tangy, slightly sweet, and PERFECT with the meat… 11/10 if I could 🥈 Steak Tartare — super unique, topped with egg that’s somehow not messy at all… it’s literally art 🥉 French Dip — not usually a French onion girl, but this one still hits Don’t skip the sides either: Caesar salad with real anchovies 🐟, French onion soup (same vibes as the dip 🤤), plus every order comes with chips. I FINALLY got the chance to try out Vancouver’s best breakfast on wheels. @crackonvan On has a KILLER lineup of brekkie all day dishes focusing on eggs and bacon. I went with 🥪 Crack Sandwich: Thick cut bacon, havarti, candied jalapeños, tomato relish, lemon garlic aioli. This scrumptious sandwich made me rethink my whole existence on a beautiful Vancouver day. I mean look at that cross section. Nuff said! 🥔 Loaded Hashbrows: Hash Browns topped with Bacon Bits, Mozarella, Cheddar, Pickled Red Onions, Candied Jalapeños, Kume Gochujang Sauce. Punchy, tangy, and hearty. Looking for a hangover cure - you’ve found it. My fav between the two. Overall a great grab n go breakfast truck. It will be the brand’s first spot in BC. The LA-born egg sandwich chain has over 15 locations worldwide including Tokyo, London, Las Vegas, and Seattle. It started as a food truck in 2011 and became famous for hours-long lineups at Grand Central Market in Downtown LA. The Canadian expansion is starting in Toronto with two locations first, then Vancouver expected to follow in summer.
