ONWe get asked a lot about the main difference between the mini and micro Sheepadoodles so I wanted to take a minute to share more about them. All of our micro Sheepadoodles are F1b’s which means they are 75% poodle and 25% old English sheepdog. Sometimes we have minis that end up micro size (because genetics can be a little unpredictable) so it is possible to end up with an F1 micro Sheepadoodle but very unlikely. We keep the best of our mini Sheepadoodles to breed back to a Poodle to get the Sheepadoodles in the adorable micro size. A micro sheepadoodle is around 12-25 lbs full grown. So, what is a mini Sheepadoodle? A mini Sheepadoodle can come in both F1, which is a 50% old English sheepdog and 50% Poodle, and F1b, 75% Poodle and 25% old English sheepdog. Mini Sheepadoodles are typically 25-45 lbs full grown.
