7FMicrosoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman just outlined a clear red line for the future of artificial intelligence.
He warns that AI must be shut down immediately if it ever gains these four capabilities at once:
1️⃣ Recursive self-improvement (improving its own code).
2️⃣ Setting its own goals (outside of human intent).
3️⃣ Power to act autonomously.
4️⃣ Ability to acquire its own resources.
According to Suleyman, a system with all four traits would be powerful enough to require military-level intervention to stop.
That’s why he argues these systems must be audited and regulated like nuclear infrastructure. ☢️
